Popular amongst locals and tourist, The Ship Hotel is Aberdaron's No.1 destination for those who like a tipple or two.

The bar has a modern and welcoming appeal but you’re never too far away from the old traditions.

Our well stocked bar offers a wide selection of beer, wine and spirits. In addition to serving well known brands, our bar offers a good selection of locally produced beers, ales, wine and spirits.

Whilst here, be sure to try the specially named ale “Brenin Enlli (The Bardsey King)”, produced by local brewery Cwrw Llyn of nearby Nefyn. A classic hoppy bitter with a copper body and a good head on it - 4% ABV.

The name derives from Ynys Enlli – Bardsey. A hundred years ago, there was a 200-strong community of fishermen and crofters on the island and as is customary on many islands, they elected their own ‘king’. The last king was Love Pritchard, here seen wearing the crown of the island. - © Cwrw Llyn
